Generate Electricity by dragging Salt-water over a piece of Graphene

A researchers team at China's Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics have been studying the properties of graphene , has discovered that by dragging saltwater over a piece of Graphene can actually generate electricity. In their paper published in the journal Nature Nanotechnology, the team described how in seeking to turn the idea of submerging carbon nanotubes in a flowing liquid to generate a voltage on its head, they came upon the idea of simply dragging water droplets across Graphene.

For those who are wondering what Graphine is? Well it is a  fullerene consisting of bonded carbon atoms in sheet form one atom thick. This will be a great piece of inventory since many people are facing problem with lack of electricity. The main idea is to generate electricity using Graphene and salt water so all we have to do is, make tunnels made of Graphene and make salt water to flow from it. It might be a simple idea but still testing is been going on to make this project a success.

So what do think about this? Drop your comments below and let us know if you have any similar kind of Idea’s.
